THE GREENISH IGUANA

 

Nachito wanted to have his own pet, his brother had a puppy that he shared with him, but for Nacho it was not enough.

The detail was the difficulty he had of acquiring a pet of his own, because their mother had told him that she would not accept another dog in the house. So Nacho had already resigned himself to having a pet shared with his brother.

One afternoon he was playing on the terrace of the house, to which several branches of the trees came near the terrace, when suddenly, he saw a little green iguana fell from the branches. He grabbed her very quickly before it could ran away.

It was noticed that the iguana was a newborn little girl, very cute green, like the leaves of the neighboring tree. Nacho liked the little iguana and he went to showed it to his brother. Nacho decide to have the little iguana as a pet.

While looking for his brother, he was thinking what name he would him to it, it would have to be related to the color of its skin. Green? Emerald? Greenish? I like greenish, so I named it greenish.

The brother thought, it would be a good pet for Nacho. He was agreed with the name, now they have to think about a place where they might have it. They thought in a place where Luna, the puppy, could not catch her, because it could hurt the little iguana. So, they searched for a high box, so it could not get out. Then, they placed several leaves and water inside the box.

During the day, both brothers placed the box in a high place, near where they were and at night, they would put in the bedroom they shared.

Nacho was happy with his pet, took care of her, put food on her and even took pictures of the little iguana. But, unsurprisingly, one day when Nacho woke up, as he checked the ox were he kept Greenish, noticing that it was empty, the little iguana had disappeared.

Nacho became very sad, but his brother told him that greenish had grown up and as the iguanas walked the branches of the trees, where they climb, It had been easy for it to escape from the box, he also told him that Greenish will be happier free in nature.
